Another week is already here and Elizabeth Janette wants to know what's on everyone's TBR list. If you haven't hopped over from Mikki Cober's blog make sure to check out her list, too. Can't wait to find out if there are more books I need to add to my TBR.
This week we are divulging our TBR pile. I’m sure you all know this is the To Be Read stack of books that pops up around the house. Since the hop consists of Romance Writers I can’t imagine this list would be short for any of us.
Although, several books I never thought would be added to my TBR are the following:
- Mommy’s Best Kisses by Margaret Anastas and Susan Winter
- I Love You Stinky Face by Lisa Mccourt and Cyd Moore
- It’s Time to Sleep My Love by Nancy Tillman and Eric Metaxas
And I never thought these books would “forever” be on my TBR pile each and every day despite how many times they are read.
I’m not complaining. I read them to my son. It makes the little stinker happy and gets him to enjoy books. I will confess, The Monster At The End Of This Book by Jon Stone and Mike Smolin is on my iPad as an interactive book. This one I don’t have to read but of course it’s memorized already from listening to is so many times.
So here are a handful of books on my old TBR pile:
- Dark Skye by Kresley Cole
- Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
- Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
- Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen
- Bound By Night by Larissa Ione
- Dark Lover by J.R. Ward
- Looking For Alaska by John Green
- The Darkest Touch by Gena Showalter
This doesn’t touch the number of books I want to read. These were picked randomly (okay - not so randomly) from the books I have set aside to read for this year. But of course, a book lover like me will always have more (or buy more) books to read. The TBR will never be empty.
Find out what books Jami Denise has on her TBR list. Hope to see you next week. Take Care.
